The debut album Chop-LP is finally finished, recorded at Bud Sticky Sounds in Hackney, London though nearly halted by the oncoming Olympic development. The release date is set for the 5th November and it’s currently winging it’s way to shops and online sellers near you. It’ll be followed by the download only release of the single ‘Little Johnny’ , 19th November, with a video directed by Barney Clay, shot entirely on Super-8 at night, in a dark abandoned warehouse in south London. Scary stuff……..
A tour in November will shortly be announced, including the Lady Luck Club, London, on the 29th November.
DHC music has recently featured in the film ‘The Ballad of AJ Weberman’, a documentary about the obsessive Bob Dylan fan and inventor of celebrity garbology. Winner of awards at The Raindance Film Festival and The Slamdance Film Festival.
DHC himself features in an upcoming documentary ‘One Man in the Band’, a feature about the one-man-band scene, director Adam Clitheroe, on screens near you soon………
